• Led, scaled, and expanded the international remote engineering team sustainably by defining the high standard of hiring criteria and thresholds; while making sure ramp up onboarding time as short as possible by having good product and engineering documentation.
• Led product development, engineering and architecture of decentralised application with cross chain support under EVM for both smart contract and web app. Raised over USD 6 millions across 14 projects having one of the highest average ROI on the launchpad market.
• Led product development and design with a user centric approach. We focused on the quality of the UI/UX to reduce the normally-high-learning-curve web3, to onboard as many people as we can to leverage web3 technology.
• Designed & created a multi-chain blockchain ecosystem by integrating with several bridges, to leverage the functionality beyond one chain; Enabled a cross chain allocation launchpad with no token bridge in the process.

• Implemented a platform where users can explore available nearby merchants to increase merchant’s discoverability. Furthermore the ability to do advertisement & self funded promotion will help merchants to reach new customers which will unlock their full potential as well as reducing Grab promo cost.
• Implemented apple sign in feature as a new social login method in Grab which has the ability to mask user’s email to increase user’s privacy experience.

• Reduced time to load home screen feed by 60% on iOS (from 38s to 15s on P95) by rewriting the whole stack and architecture (moved from webview to native and build backend from scratch) I was involved on end to end development from backend (including set up server on AWS, designed DB Scheme, and implemented API) and frontend (iOS) development.
• Developed an end to end personalized Year In Review for users to reflect back on how they used the Grab app in the past year. The project timeline was only 2 weeks and it finished on time.

• Developed end to end (frontend to backend) experimentation platform called Grab daily which increased user’s engagement and became a key point to be a Super App. Due to its potential it was moved to the home screen of the Grab app, accessed by 8+ millions users every day with 300+ QPS. This platform enabled Grab to have a new revenue stream from ads.

• Developed a cloud-based church management software for managing membership and events, with more than 4000 active users having various roles.
• Implemented a web-based self-service portal that allows members to update their personal particulars, along with a review system to ensure data validity.
• Developed an event ticketing system that allows multiple schedules on different venues with multiple ticket classes (e.g. VIP, Regular, etc).
• Planned and built tools for migration membership data from a legacy relational DB (SQLBase) into MongoDB.
