• Led design & development of a multi-terabyte data streaming, caching and messaging infrastructure built on top of Apache Kafka, Redis & Memcached.
• Developed from scratch an organisation-wide Data Streaming and Transport ecosystem with & around Apache Kafka, scaling the underlying infrastructure to 50+ dedicated Kafka clusters transporting & transforming over 2 billion messages per day.
• Led the development on our messaging infrastructure built on top of Redis helping scale the underlying systems to power 1500+ unique services across the organisation. Helped conceptualise & implement necessary features and APIs for asynchronous message processing use-cases at scale.

• With the Mobile Backend engineering team, helped build & optimise mobile-first APIs & features for our platform-native apps, collaborating closely with our app-development teams.
• Piloted in a group of engineers - our first SRE-like attempts in the Company, later bootstrapping our first two SRE teams.
• Helped build & develop our then company-wide monitoring framework for data & metrics stored in Graphite, MySQL and Hadoop; this facilitating product teams auto-generate telemetry, monitoring & dashboards by simply adding custom manifests alongside their applications & deployments.

Designed & developed an add-on module for ATutor - a Learning Management System which helps users to create & share highly interactive course - content using Google Apps such as Youtube, Google Docs, Spreadsheets, Google Calendars etc. The platform is intended to be used by teachers & students to create & share course-related information, from wherever they may be.
