• In the position of Technical Executive I was responsible for overseeing the day to day IT operations for some of our top clients. To ensure that the organization’s IT technology works efficiently I strongly focused on identifying waste and eliminating it from the IT processes. By automating standard changes, deployments and a large part of the incident management process the operational FTE requirements are strongly reduced while client satisfaction is increased. The global, multi-site IT environment consists of over 1000 Windows and Linux/Unix servers running on top of a combination of Azure, SoftLayer and on-premise vSphere.

• Leading a team of 12 Senior IT engineers by training, motivating and setting clear objectives.

• In 2010 I stared at Schuberg Philis. I joined the Vattenfall (Nuon at the time) team, supporting the Mission Critical Trader Desktops for the trade floor at Vattenfall and the Mission Critical Cockpit at Vattenfall which is responsible for the steering of the power plants. We implemented technologies like Citrix Xen App/Desktop/Server, Citrix Provisioning Services, Quest Active Roles, Blade Logic and a lot of custom Powershell scripts to support this solution.
• Complete automation of the VDI provisioning image (pvs) was one of the projects that i was leading at this time. Each month on a new release, the entire image was rebuilt, this so in case of any issues, every image could be reverted / rebuilt in great detail. For these users every millisecond counts.
• Schuberg Philis is leading in defining market standards as DevOps, cloud development, work ethics and work pleasure. Amazing company.
