As an engineer turned strategic product leader, I am passionate about bringing innovative technology products with business and societal impact to the marketplace. I have demonstrated success in leading positioning, messaging, and launch strategies for key AI offerings within the IBM Watson business group. I have developed integrated product GTM strategies, marketing and communication plans, content strategies, and enablement in collaboration with, R&D, sales, strategic partners, government/regulatory affairs, legal, and academia. Currently, I lead the go-to-market strategy and marketing for IBM Granite foundation models and watsonx Data & AI platform. My objective is to establish AI relevancy and leadership of the IBM Granite brand in the model marketplace, engaging open-source and developer communities, and position ‘watsonx’ as the leading platform for generative AI. I have advised SVPs and General Managers in projects for Corporate M&A Strategy, Corporate Development, Business Development, and Corporate Ventures on build, partner, and buy strategies to bolster the generative AI tech stack. I spearheaded IBM's social and influencer advocacy program, earning recognition as a Top 15 AI Advocate and securing a position on the AI Advisory Committee for Hyperion Research, established by former IDC analysts. In addition to my corporate role, I have coordinated funding rounds for early-stage tech startups as an investor and committee member at Guindy Angels. I also founded ‘The AI People,’ a talk show that showcases inspiring stories of thinkers and builders who are humanizing AI. I am dedicated to advising and guiding young professionals in navigating their career paths in tech and business. While pursuing an MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Finance, I founded a new AI Club dedicated to empowering students to succeed in the new era of generative AI. I led industry and alumni engagement as chair of the Private Equity & Investment Management clubs. I advised Data & AI software startups competing in the ‘New Venture Challenge,’ a top-ranked university accelerator, and formulated investment theses and value creation strategies for HRTech and datacenter-focused private equity firms. Additionally, I led customer discovery and go-to-market efforts for an ‘AI model startup’ in a National Science Foundation funded program.
