• 1. Played the architect role of the Recommerce system and led the ReArchitecture project. I defined the 3-5 years vision and aligned with leaders including engineering, product, and business. On the engineering side, I re-designed major components such as order, payment, and delivery to establish a more scalable and reliable Recommerce system including other domains: Fraud detection, shopping cart, etc.
• 2. As the first milestone of the ReArchitecture, I proposed and led multiple initiatives to enhance the overall country expansion ability towards the long-term visions.
• 3. I led the InstantBuy project as overall architect. I worked with 7+ tech leads from different domains to launch the project with a tight timeline while ensuring best practices in system design and guiding the long-term vision of the architecture.
• 4. I proposed the multi-tenancy architecture to foster our testing environments as feature environment to enable 100+ engineers to test their features in parallel without impacting others. It costs only less than 30% of the cost of the initial proposal and achieved 90+% adoption rate within one quarter.
• 5. In addition to all technical initiatives, I also provided technical advises to help managers in defining OKR and mentored engineers in the organization.
