Regarding open source contributions see project section other contributions are below:
Solved dedicated CPU resource problem in userspace which can be controlled via Openstack. Kernel based prototype had the similar approach in which a default cpuset was created to handle system tasks which contained non-dedicated cpus and that cpuset would change according to the rest of non-dedicated cpus available in system automatically.
Worked on Docker POC for powerpc, which involved understanding the gap in powerpc such as
reflection, cgo ( C language binding for powerpc), came up with pure golang solution for database for docker, and other architectural related changes, making docker work on powerpc.
Worked on userspace hardlimitd module that aids optimal placement of virtual CPUs to enable efficient usage of CPUs by virtual machines which had upperbound CPU bandwidth.
Workload management library development and maintenance which involved exploiting resource management interfaces (cgroups) for database and HPC workloads.
