• Responsible for operational issues of IT infrastructure in Amazon.
• Responsible for creating and managing Autoscaling EC2 instances using VPCs, and Elastic Load Balancers.
• Responsible for developing, implementing and managing the support of automation, environments, builds, integrations, testing and deployment of applications.
• Monitor health of the cloud infrastructure by deploying various tools.
• Responsible for managing Amazon cloud infrastructure having close to 300+ EC2 instances.
• Launching fully chef configured and build management system to deploy servers with the proper configuration on a per role and per environment basis.
• Responsible for supporting and administering all internal and client applications, databases and servers on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.
• Primary contact for any issues arising in the IT/Cloud Infrastructure.
• Ensure sanity of the software build process
• Act as a Production Environment gatekeeper
• Work with Quality Assurance teams to assess the quality of the software
• Move the software build through the QA, Stability and Live environments.
