About

Software engineer, who is passionate about large scale infrastructure and system design. In Dec 2020, I graduated with a Master's in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Previous to that, I have 4 years of industry experience in fields such as fashion e-commerce and digital finance. I've primarily been part of mobile app (iOS + ReactNative) teams, but I've also worked on supporting backend services. My time at Carnegie Mellon has taught me a lot about all phases of the software development lifecycle including a strong focus on Communication and Teamwork. I've had hands-on experience in Requirements gathering, Management, Process, Planning, Architecture, Quality, and Risk Management. I've also worked on projects at the intersection of machine learning and software engineering. At CMU, I was involved in a year-long capstone project for building the Ground Control System software for a moon rover being built by CMU Robotics Institute and Astrobotic, for a NASA mission to trace water on the Moon's south pole in the summer of 2022. I lead the team's efforts on Quality, Risk Management, and take ownership of the primary backend service being written in Go.
