• Worked on building a non-root Virtual Machine Monitor from grounds up on a type-1 hypervisor for malware protection for endpoint security. Hypervisor used had very minimal functionality thus making VMM complex. VMM was running in non-root mode thus reducing the attack surface.

• Worked on image processing and pattern matching of hand written characters. Task was to identify ancient scripts etched on stones using software. Pictures taken by Archeological Survey of India were given to us. None of the standard image processing algorithms worked on these images as there was just too much noise in those images. We had to develop in-house algorithms to extract the characters and developed heuristics based methods for pattern matching.
