I have donned multiple hats from circuit designer to VLSI-cad doctoral researcher to software engineer to data scientist to a technologist-leader. At Zendrive, I lead the vertical charter to determine the mode of transport of users from smartphone sensors. I own the outcome; define the strategy and technical roadmap; manage the development, deployment and monitoring of ML-algorithms and ML-systems; nurture the growth and development of people in my team comprising data scientists, data engineers, backend engineers and mobile engineers. Prior to that, I led the development and deployment of ML models for determining driving behavior from smartphone sensors. Drove the development of a foundational technology using multiple sensors for accurate estimation of driving behavior. At Synopsys, I developed software for VLSI chip design. Conceptualized and developed many differentiating features in a flagship product. These include automatic algorithms for device placement, routing, layout migration and resolving double patterning and design rule violations. The solutions involved modeling and developing software in C++ using mathematical optimization, graph algorithms and computational geometry.
