• of Load Balancers:

• Classic: Operates at both request level (Layer-7) and connection level (Layer-4) (https://aws.amazon.com/elasticloadbalancing/classic-load-balancer/).
• These 2 load balancers host some of the most popular domains on internet for more than 100k+ customers in 25+ AWS regions and operate one of the biggest Data Plane fleet on AWS.
• Some of the noteworthy projects that I led / contributed-to in this team: Access Logs delivery from from load balancer nodes to S3, load balancer Health Checks, billing and CloudWatch metrics.
• Helped launch several new regions for ELB and led cross-org automation efforts to reduce new region build effort.

• Worked on projects on both Control Plane and Data Plane. Also led several successful
• initiatives to improve operational stability and provided oversight on improving
• deployment processes by building metrics pipelines and operational dashboards

• Designed and developed several high scale low latency systems to enable content
• creators, publishers and bloggers monetize their website traffic by featuring Amazon
• products on their sites and social media.
• Amazon affiliate program (https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/) is one of the largest programs in the world with over 1MM
• affiliates. These affiliates drive 10s of billions of dollars in sales for Amazon world-wide.
• Worked on different parts of Amazon’s affiliate infrastructure - Link/Ad-building, Link/Adserving,
• Payments and Telemetry.
• Architected and implemented “Amazon Publisher Studio” - A new Ad-Building Tool to
• allow website owners to create In-image ads on their websites. It was used by more than 25k affiliates in the first year of its launch and brought in millions of dollars in sales. Also worked with my team to file this product as a patent (https://patents.google.com/patent/US20140129959).

• Worked at Yahoo Advertising Platform Group on a Greenfield product which allows
• advertisers to manage Display Ads across multiple advertising channels. Implemented
• APIs and front-end using Java, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

• Worked as a Research Assistant for professor Jayanthi Sivaswamy (Professor & Dean at IIIT) to help build Virtual Labs for Digital Image processing.
• Implemented a diverse set of digital image processing experiments for the Virtual Lab (https://cse19-iiith.vlabs.ac.in/).
