About

With over 15 years of experience in software development and engineering, I am a Staff Data Engineer at Infoblox, where I work with the Ingestion, Tagging and Big Data teams. I am passionate about building scalable, reliable, and secure distributed systems that serve millions of customers and handle petabytes of data. Previously I worked with AWS, where I have contributed to several projects and features that enhance the security, availability, and functionality of S3, such as S3 PrivateLink, and S3 Endpoints. I have deployed projects using Big Data technologies, such as Apache Spark, EMR, Elasticsearch, and Kibana, to process and analyze large volumes of data. I have also worked with low level network packet processing, XDP, routing between virtual networks, profiling TCP stack and native programming in C. Some of my work also covers the fleet management, fleet sizing and API design areas. Apart from Java, Python, C, I am also proficient in Linux, Scala and dotnet-core. I have a Master of Mathematics in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
