Started my journey in a data science services startup. With limited resources, I built and led a team of talented college graduates, mentoring them to deliver high quality analytical and machine learning solutions. Few project highlights:
[1] Industrial AI: Built a real time product quality prediction system for one of India’s top five refineries, leveraging data from 500+ IoT sensors resulting in an estimated annual saving of $875K by reducing low grade production.
[2] Predictive Maintenance: Designed, developed, and deployed a predictive maintenance solution for critical equipment at a Fortune Global 500 client, enabling early failure detection and minimising downtime.
[3] AI for Safety & Surveillance: Created an automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system with a synthetic Indian license plate dataset achieving accuracy similar to leading paid cloud APIs.
[4] Computer Vision R&D: Developed a general purpose object detection pipeline using advanced augmentations and the YOLO framework to monitor safety compliance (helmet, vest, and mask detection).
