• Delivered the architectural revamp of the messaging platform enabling $ 2 mn USD cost savings per annum. The entire stack was re developed from self hosted software technologies like Kafka, Storm, Cassandra, SQL Server, HornetQ, Elasticsearch, Hadoop etc. to completely AWS managed serverless stack with Fargate, SNS, SQS, S3, Firehose, Kinesis Analytics, Athena/Glue etc. The new architecture can turn around events @10000 Tps in about 1/10th of the AWS infra cost.
• Rolled out Self Service portal and process improvements in operations driving the average issue resolution time down to 3.5 days from 16 days.
• Ramped up the team from 7 to 14 engineers with zero attrition in a span of 6 months. Built and worked on the growth and development plan for each team member.
