I am a full-time proprietary, discretionary technical trader and an investor in the Indian capital markets, with a specialty in trading derivatives. I switched careers in the pursuit of exploring ways to gain autonomy & freedom to accomplish many other life goals. Having been in the space of technology development for over 7 years, I also hold a special interest in the areas dealing with the intersection of finance & technology, especially, in the spaces of algorithmic-trading applications in the stock markets & building customized trading systems. I work in these areas when I am not trading. Prior to this, I worked at Qualcomm as part of the hardware engineering design & development group for high-speed CPU based SoC products. And prior to that, I worked at Intel in the development of integrated graphics cores for PCs. I also work as a freelance mentor for spoken English & technology enablement in association with various non-profit forums. I am a strong ally for the causes of women's education and entrepreneurship, especially in the areas of STEM and Finance. Having been decade-old, trained & certified Bharatanatyam and Indian contemporary dancer, I creatively enjoy exploring areas of movement art, the intersection of Yoga and Dance and related areas. I am a vegan, and a sustainability enthusiast. I enjoy composting, repurposing existing items and being conscious of my choices on the ecological front and doing my bit towards climate change.
