About

My name is Himadri, and I am grateful that you are here reading my story! My story began when I failed my Chartered Accountancy Exam. I had been a topper throughout my school and had also cracked the 1st Level of CA in just 2 months, but when I started preparing for the 2nd level, something inside me was constantly not supporting me to perform well, and I failed. It caught me off guard, and I was afraid of being labelled a failure, so I tried again but at this time it became clear that while I had initially dreamt to become a CA, but it was not my cup of tea. And soon, I vowed that no matter what society thought of me, I would keep doing what I loved, which was social work. After finishing my master's degree, I wanted to work with an NGO, and my family supported my decision. Later that year, I discovered the purpose and decided to work as a Project Lead for a project with the finest Purpose "Child Education." With that, I had the opportunity to touch over 100 children and their parents from underprivileged backgrounds. Despite not having the facilities that most of us have, they were full of hopes, enthusiasm, and a desire to have a happy life. When the NGO decided to shut its activities in Ahmedabad, I knew I wanted to work in a position where I could have a direct impact on people's lives. I had been with them for about a year and a half, and leaving seemed like a new chapter for me. The lady who donated to the scholarship fund asked me if I wanted to work for her company, and how could I refuse such an opportunity to break through in Human Resource. I worked there for more than two years and had practiced practically every element of human resources, and I am eternally grateful to her for providing me the position and allowing me to make a career change when I decided to pursue a career in recruitment. Again, because I had the correct attitude and had worked directly under the CEO, I knew how to land on my next opportunity. I contacted the CEO of Moolya and messaged him on LinkedIn about an issue I discovered on their website, along with a fix, and he proposed me why don't I join Moolya and fixed the issue my self? So here I am at Moolya. My sole belief about life is that if you give yourself enough chances and believe in yourself, there are a lot of wonderful people out there who are willing to support you and help you succeed. Don't consider yourself a failure until you do everything you can think of. Above all, I am a seasoned recruitment professional with lateral hiring experience in both the tech and non-tech domains. Cheers!
