• Contributing to Software development for CoCo, a collaborative learning platform based on Scratch 3.0
• Re-wrote the core peer-to-peer media stack to a SFU, which routes video/audio streams to multiple users across multiple nodes globally. This helped horizontally scale the application to an arbitrary number of concurrent users.
• Engineered a complete observability stack using AWS SQS, Lambda, Newrelic, Grafana, and Promtheus to process large amount of logs and metric data from frontend applications and backend services. This helped reduce MTTR by 90% for production issues.
• Contributed to forks of Scratch 3.0 and P5.js repos to fix upstream bugs, and to make specific integrations/extensions for CoCo.
• Various contributions to backend and frontend applications to design and develop REST APIs, optimize database queries, and also make React/Material UI based frontend pages. Worked mainly around Typescript, NodeJS, Postgres, Redis, AWS (EC2, Fargate, Lambda, SQS, and more) and GCP.
• Revamped analytics pipeline using mixpanel to dervice business analytics/insights on user data.

• Member of the core team since inception, involved in making crucial architectural decisions and bug fixes in the backend (ExpressJS), client-side SDKs (React), and the cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, Golang).
• Developed essential microservices which implement algorithms to load balance and allocate thousands of video calls every day between multiple servers, in NodeJS, Typescript, Postgres, and MoleculerJS.
• Created a complete auto-scaling system on top of Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS EKS, and an automated CI gitops-based flow using ArgoCD to handle deployments to master and staging environments.
• Created the whole infrastructure for meeting recordings on top of AWS ECS, and optimized recording qualities (50% better) and compression rates (10x smaller) by fine-tuning FFMpeg parameters.
• Built the frontend for the Developer Portal in React, and set up microservices to collect statistics/logs from the system, improving the visibility of the system thus helping us detect errors faster. (Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, Fluentd, CloudWatch)

• Engineered a completely autonomous car system using Lidar Sensors, ROS, and Autoware.
• Researched many whitepapers, and implemented algorithms for Route Planning, Localization, and mapping.
• Successfully conducted an initial test where mapped the entire office space as a 3-D point cloud, and localized where the user is to an accuracy of < 3cm.
• Mounted the lidar sensor on a real car and successfully performed route planning and trajectory estimations on ~ 200m of the testing area.
