About

I build accessible, scalable Front-End solutions while supporting the people and teams behind them. As the Associate Director of Front-End Engineering at Fueled, I balance hands-on technical contributions with people-first leadership. I collaborate closely with my team to deliver maintainable, performant web experiences, introduce new tools and approaches, and make technical decisions that align with both business goals and team capabilities. I see leadership and development as complementary: helping engineers grow while contributing directly to projects that have real impact. I lead a team of Front-End Engineers across varying experience levels, focusing on mentorship, 1:1s, feedback cycles, and collaborative planning. I strive to provide clear guidance, foster ownership, and navigate challenges thoughtfully—including conflict resolution and strategic decision-making—so that the team can work effectively, learn continuously, and feel supported. My work spans multi-site, multilingual projects and internal initiatives, including co-developing a Storybook-based design system for Publix, building engagement-focused editorial features for TechCrunch, and exploring AI tools like Fabric, OpenWebUI, Anthropic, and ChatGPT to improve workflows and documentation. I also host monthly knowledge-sharing sessions to encourage cross-team learning and collaboration. I am committed to continuous growth, both technically and personally. I’m exploring Emotional Intelligence, modern JavaScript practices, and thought leadership from podcasts and industry content to better support my team, peers, and the work we create together. Leadership, to me, is about pairing expertise with empathy, fostering collaboration, and helping everyone thrive—while remaining open to learning from the very team I guide.

  • At Norco Bikes I worked as a Web Designer and Developer. Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the company's several in-house brand websites. Expanded my experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, Photoshop and Flash. Designed each interface and created several backend systems to assist in maintaining each website. Also worked as a Graphic Designer. With a bike lineup consisting of over 100 bikes, my responsibility was to art direct and execute the look and feel of over half of the entire line-up each year. This involved selecting paint colours, accessories and designing the custom decal work for each model. I also created packaging, logos, advertisements and promotional materials.
