Secure meters limited

Data Scientist

Dec 2020Jun 2021 · 6 mos · Udaipur, Rajasthan, India

  • In my six-month internship at Secure Meters (Dec’20 to June’21), I worked as a Data Scientist on two different projects:
  • The first one dealt with developing a daily life monitoring system with behaviour pattern recognition using data from different types of sensors like motion, occupancy, humidity and temperature sensors to help identify events which warrant attention for elderly people living alone in the United Kingdom. I handled the whole process starting from Data Collection, Data Cleaning, Visualisation, Feature modelling and then using Machine learning techniques to identify any anomaly in the person's behaviour that raises concern.
  • The second one dealt with detecting electricity theft by industries using half-hourly data acquired from smart meters. Here also merging electrical domain knowledge with Machine learning concept, we were able to shortlist the most probable theft events.

Business Analyst Intern

May 2020Jun 2020 · 1 mo

  • In my internship at OYO Rooms (Summer 2020), as a Business Analyst, I was responsible for developing a robust, scalable and automatic Management Information System toolkit (MIS toolkit) for platforms like Slack and Mail for coordination and visualisation of information among employees. I also automated the publication of dynamic and continuously updating Business Development Dashboards of different departments for these platforms on desired channels and at desired frequency or time. It helped them in saving hundreds of Man-Hours a month for the employees, which incredibly improved their efficiency.
