Students-managed team aiming to develop a self-driving car (SeDriCa) of Level 5 autonomy for Indian road conditions. Worked across various subsystems like Computer Vision, Localisation, Controls and Decision making subsystems to integrate them and develop a cross-functional pipeline using ROS.
Spearheaded CV subsystem to improve lane segmentation and object detection tasks by incorporating techniques like image stitching. Interfaced Lidar with ROS pipeline to fuse its data with IMU and GPS data for localisation using the EKF algorithm. Developed & simulated Model Predictive Controller for trajectory tracking and actuation. Further coded a teleop keyboard controller to drive the car using the keyboard for testing. Ideated the design of the master Decision-Making algorithm for intersection handling and lane-changing scenarios.

Worked on forecasting paths in unoptimized netlists (electronic circuits) that would violate Static Timing Analysis (STA) constraints post time-consuming analysis. With an accuracy of 86%, I successfully predicted these paths and reduced the inference time to identify such paths drastically, giving more time to designers to design, experiment and test out different ideas.
Additionally, I conducted Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to gain insights into the data and developed Artificial Neural Network models that classified slack (timing violation) into bins of various ranges, enabling accurate identification of timing violations. This experience strengthened my skills in data analysis, modelling, and problem-solving.
