• Joined Kapstan as a founding engineer. Kapstan is envisioned as ’DevOps as a Service’. We went from
• 0 to 1 and acquired paying customers. I contributed to key areas including public cloud provider inte-
• grations and infrastructure management, RBAC and authentication (including Auth0 integration), the
• development of end-to-end and integration test infrastructure, Terraform management tools, and certifi-
• cate integrations. Also contributed to the go-to-market (GTM) motion via experimentation, telemetry
• management, marketing integrations among other things.

• Joined Sumo Logic as a very early Engineer in 2013. I was part of the journey where we started with
• barely stable system to handling Petabyte scale ingestion. Company IPO-ed in 2020.
• Successfully designed and scaled critical systems to accommodate exponential growth in data ingestion and scanning processes, ensuring seamless performance under increased demand.
• Developed a multi-tenant fair usage service that facilitated availability-based bursts, optimizing resource allocation and improving user experience.
• Spearheaded multiple cross-team cost reduction initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and generating a total savings of $X (single digit) million in COGS.
• Implemented a search data selector optimisation service using in-memory probabilistic data structures,
• resulting in reduced costs while managing a 20x increase in data ingestion.
• Directed design and experience enhancements throughout the product, contributing to a notable increase in the Net Promoter Score (NPS).
• Managed a team to create a comprehensive system transparency framework, incorporating audit logs and object-level health checks capable of handling one million events per second, utilising both client-side and server-side optimisations.
• Led the development of a tailored solution for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and channel partners, driving sales growth and expanding market reach.
• Conducted extensive experimentation to determine optimal disk usage configurations, ensuring cost efficiency and peak performance.
• Created structure/framework around the on-call pager review for the reduction in on-call load. Periodically led the exercise using the framework to actually reduce the on-call pain and make the infra more handsfree after each iteration.

• Worked as SDE in Windows AppStore team. I was a part of developer and content certification analytics team and worked on developing features as well as infrastructure components. The work involved curating and aggregating large amount of data, developing component for windows store core infrastructure and maintaining high availability of the services.
