• Maintained 50 medium and large databases for 30 different hospitals independently. Received award for performing the work without downtime with advance and detailed planning.
• Provided support for around 10 Oracle RAC databases on both IBM AIX and OpenVMS 7.1 operating systems. Support includes on call support, troubleshooting problems, working with Oracle Support when necessary, and implementing problem resolutions.
• Worked with Oracle Partitioning Option to segregate data and facilitate purging of rolling data.
• Installed Oracle software and build new Oracle databases on a regular basis.

• Implemented appropriate backups & recovery strategies for a VLDB (>4TB) using EMC Time Finder (BCV), the same script was used to build the data barn for reporting purpose.
• Received Sprint Values Excellence award in recognition of exceptional customer satisfaction for a billing project by troubleshooting of performance issues involving multiple applications with the knowledge from different applications and functional areas.
