Ownership of Pricing Engine (Golang) and Merchant Onboarding (Java Springboot) backend microservices in Growth Cluster of ZestMoney
Contributions:
Ownership of pricing-engine microservice in Golang used for obtaining the different pricing
EMI options offered by Zest via REST APIs, being used by web, android and iOS front-end
services (throughput of 350req/min), and hence requiring least response time and error rate.
Reduced response time of pricing-engine to 1/4th of its initial 360ms to 90ms by
implementing go routines and channels (concurrency in Go) and made customer experience
seamless.
Also worked on merchant-onboarding (Java Springboot) backend microservice used for
onboarding new Partners like Flipkart, Amazon, etc using a POST API.
