About

As a teenager, I am very enthusiastic about technology and I am someone who learns through experimenting and evaluating. Now here I am as a software development engineer in a product-based MNC who is responsible for designing developing and testing products based on application servers and databases which are implemented traditionally using java and recently using cutting-edge technology like Kubernetes, Docker, and much other open-source software as an add-on. In my spare time, I do video editing, playing outdoor sports,s and Battle royale games.  Please feel free to get in touch with me if you’re interested in connecting. Specialties: haproxy, Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker, tomcat9, JBoss7.1, Java, Cloud Technologies, Shell script, Linux(Centos7), Open source technologies, and linters.

  • 1. Decouple container build from installer build: redesigned entire architecture for quantum fabric images build to consume component artifacts directly, instead of depending on fabric on-prem installer build. code changes to support generating individual fabric component images directly from the Jenkins layer. code changes to use dev, QA, ga docker hub users directly from the Jenkins layer. the input file will now use version-based install instead of hardcoded value during build time. able to achieve little to no manual intervention for building images. build time decreased drastically since there is no dependency on the on-prem installer build.
  • 2. enable HTTPS passthrough for tomcat app server for quantum fabric installer deployment using Openshift and single container (Customer ask - ADCB)
  • 3. Encrypted Database password with rotational key: implemented 256-bit AES/GCM/NoPadding encryption for Quantum fabric deployment such that customers now can choose to encrypt the database password using encryption utility. Can be used with all Databases that Quantum Fabric support when using tomcat as an app server. Implemented for Onprem installers(Windows and Linux), Single container, Kubernetes, Openshift, EKS. (Customer ask - ADCB)
  • 4. Played a good role during log4j vulnerability where I patched a good amount of Quantum Fabric images across multiple versions with the latest log4j jar multiple times. Vulnerable packages removed from docker container as part of security scan fix.
  • 5. Played a good role to support a couple of customers namely ADCB(Dubai) and Macquire(Australia) to get into production. worked with some other customers to fix and close support tickets
  • 6. support for HTTPS, many other miscellaneous UI and code bugs, and improvements in Openshift, single container.
  • 7. implementation of alert manager, logging, and many other miscellaneous UI and code bugs and improvements in multi-node(Kubernetes)

  • 1. Perform Load test to give cluster sizing on both Kubernetes(bare-metal) and Onprem installer for Quantum Fabric.
  • 2. Docker Images size reduced for fabric images both single container as well as multi-container as much as 33%
  • 3. helping the team to generate single and multi-container artifacts to run automation on top of which we do the release our GA
  • 4. POC for containerizing Jasper Reports Server to support Quantum Fabric instance
  • 5. implement Linters for DockerFile, shell script, and YML files which will be running as part of the build when rasing PR for code changes for fabric container.
  • 6. MySQL jar upgrade, JBoss bundled upgrade from 7.2 to 7.3, and other miscellaneous UI and code bugs and improvements in the Onprem installer
