My primary goal was to develop an automation tool to streamline part stress analysis and improve component reliability for aerospace systems.
Built a Python (NumPy, Pandas) + PyQt5 automation tool for Part Stress Analysis, reducing manual analysis time from 16 hours to under 3 minutes, with GUI workflows to import BOM files, apply derating factors, and generate structured MTBF reports.
Implemented component classification and validation logic for capacitors, diodes, ICs, and resistors, adding Excel-based automation to generate multi-sheet outputs and improve data accuracy.
Packaged the tool into a deployable .exe using PyInstaller to simplify adoption, while enhancing reliability calculations by integrating derated voltage, current, and power values in compliance with Boeing’s AvionX Part Management Plan.
