• Worked on a new SaaS platform (Common Saas Platform) at VMware as part of a geographically distributed development team, supporting various SaaS development efforts, including VMW on AWS. Developed service lifecycle (deployment, upgrade) capabilities using VMware Xenon framework, developed service discovery capabilities (Xenon based) and Spring Cloud compatible library including Ribbon Client and DiscoveryClient (Spring Boot + Spring Cloud). Also responsible for operation of Mesos Cluster and Amazon ECS Clusters for service runtime and the migration to Kubernetes (managed with KOPS and Terraform). Also acting as developer advocate for multiple internal teams consuming CSP capabilities. In this capacity, I write examples to illustrate API usage, create documentation, provide implementation advice and work with PM to prioritize new features and bugs encountered by the teams.

• Originally, I focused on JavaScript and Java development for vRealize Air Compliance, a software-as-a-service configuration compliance checker for vSphere Infrastructure. JavaScript, mostly ExtJS as well as D3.js. Java development heavily focused on Spring (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security). Additionally responsible for helping maintain build and test automation environment, team lab (ESXi + vCenter running on Intel NUC hardware).
