• In my role, I had the opportunity to lead and develop a significant component responsible for managing traffic of several million users. One of the primary objectives was to personalize the onsite shopping experience, aligning it with individual customer preferences. Additionally, optimizing delivery efficiency was a key focus.
• I also took on the responsibility of diagnosing and resolving issues in the core CI/CD pipelines, which were prone to inconsistencies necessitating manual intervention.
• One notable achievement during my tenure was the implementation of a horizontally scalable and low-latency cache service using DynamoDB for customer cart events. This innovation significantly improved the overall performance, reducing response times to an impressive 20-25 milliseconds.
• My contributions were recognized with the Peak Champion Award, acknowledging my outstanding efforts during preparations for high transaction/velocity events in 2023. As part of my responsibilities, I strategized and executed the scaling requirements of the application to accommodate 5x traffic. This
• involved tasks such as capacity estimation, hardware procurement, team service reviews, and conducting stress and chaos testing to ensure the system's robustness. To enhance efficiency, I also automated the entire workflow, streamlining operations and reducing manual intervention.

• I spearheaded the development of a centralized hub that provided customers with a seamless way to view and manage upcoming events associated with specific instances. This hub offered valuable features, including setting up reminders and adding tags for enhanced user experience.
• Some key highlights of my contributions in this project include:
• Designing and executing an Event Calendar application within the AWS environment. This involved utilizing Java and a range of technologies such as SNS, SQS, and MySQL.
• The primary goal was to address Tier 1 customer pain points for Adobe's top 10,000 customers.
• Designing and implementing an on-demand cleanup workflow, which empowered customers with greater autonomy in managing their storage resources. This initiative resulted in a remarkable 30% reduction in customer inquiries and significantly decreased on-call responsibilities for the team.

• Drove initiatives during Paytm’s startup phase and built a payment service which is used by XX million customers daily from ground up. Led the design and re-architecture of Paytm’s Payment wallet transactional system to support 4X traffic and ensuring that the system is scalable, highly available while maintaining low latency. Navigated complex and dynamic business requirements as adoption for Paytm significantly took off with individual and organizational users alike; and delivered a system which was more versatile and flexible to accommodate the ever increasing demand and legality/taxation requirements
• To improve overall performance, I introduced a write-through cache to reduce database queries, created the Deployment Analyzer tool for automated analysis during releases, and contributed to MySQL sharding implementation for horizontal scaling. These efforts collectively aimed to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and user satisfaction at Paytm.
