About

With 20 years in software engineering, I’ve seen the full stack and debugged most of it. My career has been equal parts creativity, curiosity, and the occasional late-night bug that kept me grounded. I spent seven years as a founder and entrepreneur, building a software company that created bespoke solutions for nonprofits. Leading that business taught me how to build great teams, deliver on scrappy timelines, and translate ideas into impact. Before joining Netflix, I worked across startups, Ancestry.com, MLB.com, and Disney Streaming, where I helped launch Disney+ globally. That experience cemented my love for systems that scale and teams that bring them to life. At Netflix, I’ve spent the past few years building and now leading in the Growth Engineering space, the systems that power plan upgrades, extra member add-ons, and account access experiences for millions of members around the world. As an Engineering Manager, I lead a team of brilliant, multi-disciplinary engineers focused on building experiences that deepen member value and drive innovation across Netflix’s commerce platform. My leadership philosophy is simple: create clarity, build trust, and get out of the way so talented people can do their best work. I thrive at the intersection of technology, creativity, and leadership, and I’ve learned that the best ideas often come with a sense of humor. Whether scaling startups or building for millions, my goal is always the same: deliver impact, empower teams, and leave things better than I found them.

  • I lead the Member Commerce engineering team in Netflix’s Growth org, the folks behind the plan upgrades, extra member flows, and paid sharing experiences you tap through every time your subscription changes. We design, build, and evolve the revenue-driving moments that keep Netflix simple for members and sustainable as a business.
  • My job is equal parts coaching, strategy, and clearing the runway. I support a cross-functional team of UI, backend, and QA engineers as they ship A/B experiments, turn winning ideas into polished features, and strengthen the systems that keep our commerce journeys fast, reliable, and intuitive. I focus heavily on clarity, quality, and helping people grow into leaders who own their work end to end.
  • After 20 years as a full-stack engineer, I still love solving hard problems. Now I get to do it by empowering brilliant engineers, shaping how we build, and making sure the team has the space and support to deliver their best work, ideally with a laugh or two along the way.
