Amit Yadav — CEO
Amit advises startups and venture firms on data and modeling strategy—helping validate AI ideas, de-risk R&D, create post-training/RL data and modeling strategies for multimodal LLMs, and accelerate prototype to product. Amit is a Research Scientist at Meta Reality Labs, leading innovations in multimodal large language models (LLMs) for AI-powered wearables. He drives research in model architecture, post-training/RL techniques, and evaluation benchmarks—translating research into scalable products that are proactive and can help users without the need for explicit queries. Amit has a strong appetite for action and moves exceptionally fast while maintaining excellence. Amit was one of the fastest direct PhD graduates from his university, completing his Ph.D. in AI/ML from Purdue University in three years under distinguished IEEE and ACM Fellow Prof. Edward J. Delp. Amit also holds a B.Tech. from IIT Gandhinagar, graduating in 3.5 years with two degrees and the Director's Medal. Amit is the recipient of several prestigious international fellowships and awards including Canada Mitacs and Japan JASSO Fellowships, Ph.D. Meissner Fellowship, Academic and Leadership Excellence Award (IIT Gandhinagar), and Enphase Best Employee Award. Amit has authored 20+ papers at top venues such as CVPR, NeurIPS, ICASSP, and ICMLA—covering multimodal LLMs, generative models, and self-supervised transformers for speech and video processing. Beyond research, Amit mentors Ph.D. students from universities including Stanford, Purdue, and the University of Trento, as well as Y Combinator founders—helping translate ideas into high-impact AI solutions. Amit has delivered talks at venues including DARPA's SemaFor Program, IITs, and several international conferences, and enjoys engaging with VCs on AI's future.
