Objective: Develop the visualization module of a simulator for Central Venous Cannulation (CVC).
Generated the real time slice views from the simulation which provided the simulated ultrasound imagery used for CVC training.
Created the simulation exercise using Unity3D which allowed for consistent registration of virtual embodiments of the mechanical device within the Unity Scene which instantiated and controlled the virtual needle as well as the virtual sound probe.
Developed modules that allowed to load CT scan data into the simulator.
