• Facebook App Metrics Team:
• Created solutions which improved the accuracy of metrics seen by the Facebook users, a challenging business problem impacting the user’s trust and advertiser’s revenue.
• Developed a sub-system in metrics generation pipeline which led to estimated $M saving on compute infrastructure for the company and MBs of data usage savings for the users.
• Terragraph, Facebook Connectivity:
• Developed the radio firmware and sensor data collection sub-systems for the wireless mesh network, to facilitate last mile internet access in cities, a hardware solution with wireless/wifi capabilities.
• Owned the software development of the end to end solution to ensure microsecond accurate time synchronization across hundreds of hardware boxes on the network through GPS chipsets and wireless signaling. Co-Invented the Patent# US11070348B1: Time Synchronization of a Wireless Network.
• Scaled the network timing system’s reliability, from a 2 nodes lab prototype, to hundreds of nodes at the trial deployments in the USA (City of San Jose), Malaysia, Hungary and India. Lead this system through the compatibility with different platforms and performance/cost optimizations.

• Explored an optimal pricing model for deregulated electricity market where the grid includes renewable energy sources (like wind mill).
• Most of renewable energy sources have uncertain and variable power generation. So, we used online learning approach to do the stochastic optimization. The solution to the optimization problem gave us locational marginal prices and congestion cost of the transmision line.

• Researched on cooperative transmission strategy for wireless cellular network, aimed at mitigating the impact of interference. The paradigm allows downlink data to be shared among base-station through (wired) backhaul channels. This enables base-stations to generate transmission signals such that simultaneous transmission will result in interference free reception at mobile stations.
