Pulkit Agarwal — Product Engineer
I am a final year undergraduate student in the Computer Science and Engineering department at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. My interests lie in Algorithmic Analysis and Deep Learning, and in the past I have been actively involved with the Mathematical Olympiad Program. I also regularly take part in various Competitive Programming events. Currently I am involved with the Computation for Indian Language Technology (CFILT) group here at IIT Bombay, where I am researching with Prof. Pushpak Bhattacharya on multimodal learning and reasoning for visual question answering. I am also interested in the domains of game theory, reinforcement learning, and cryptography, and have been doing research projects in those areas as well since the past 1 year. I have had the chance to also do some extremely interesting work in the world's leading quantitative finance firms. I did an internship at Jane Street Capital, Hong Kong, a proprietary quantitative trading firm after my fall semester, and worked as a Quant Research intern in Tower Research Capital's Limestone team in London last summer. As part of these internships, I made strategies based on different models of the finance sector, and took part in various trading mock simulations.
