Ankit Prasad — Software Engineer

I am currently a Software Engineer at Nutanix working on building the distributed control plane management systems of virtual machines for Nutanix's AHV hypervisor. I have been working here for more than a year which includes my internship and full time experience. Before this I have also worked at Morgan Stanley as a software engineer intern where i mainly worked on improving low latency revenue monitoring dashboard. My experience lies in Distributed Systems and have been working on building scaleout architecture systems ensuring consistency and highly available design principles are not compromised. Currently my work at Nutanix revolves around improving HA guarantees for VMs on AHV clusters. I graduated from NSIT (Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology), India in B.E IT in June 2021 and have been an avid competitive programmer, data structures and algorithms enthusiast from my college days.
