• Working on interpretability and robustness of deep neural networks, and its applications to computer vision tasks. I am advised by Prof. Dr. Bernt Schiele at MPI-INF and Prof. Francesco Locatello at IST Austria.

• Was involved with 4 projects during the course of my tenure at MSRI.
• Developed a deep learning based solution for automatic Keratoconus diagnosis from corneal topography heatmaps. Published at EMBC 2022.

• Worked on developing DNN models for abnormality detection in limited data settings. Published at EMBC 2021.
• During this period, I continued working at the Technology for Emerging Markets (TEM) Group at Microsoft Research India (MSRI), with Dr. Mohit Jain and Dr. Nipun Kwatra.

• Worked at the Technology for Emerging Markets Group at Microsoft Research India, with Dr. Mohit Jain, Dr. Nipun Kwatra and Dr. Akshay Nambi.
• The work involved developing end-to-end systems providing low-cost smartphone-based diagnostic solutions for healthcare.

Jun 2019 – Dec 2019 · 6 mos · Noida Area, India

• Worked at the Media and Data Science Research Group, with Balaji K. and Mayur Hemani.
• Built a state of the art (SOTA) deep learning model to solve the problem of Few Shot Image Segmentation.
• Got SOTA performance, and beat previous methods by 6%.
• The work was accepted as a full paper at IJCAI 2020.
• And a patent was filed for the same.

• The goal of the project was to write a DEMO as a working example for the MEX Library in Scilab.
• Coding was mostly done in C/C++ .

• The main aim of this project is to provide a wrapper of Matlab MEX-Files headers on the current API Scilab. By using the MEX-Files wrapper the toolboxes in Matlab will be very easy to port to Scilab and also existing libraries using Matlab MEX could be directly used in Scilab. A module - mexlib module already exists in Scilab which is compatible with the Matlab-Mex API. Extending the current module and writing tests for each extension will be the major part of the project. Adding tests and a working demo for the already existing MEX functions will be included.
