• As part of this short entrepreneurial stint, I worked on backtesting several strategies and started trading 3 strategies (a trend following strategy, a mean reversion strategy & a breakout strategy) live in Indian markets for better diversification.
• Optimized the trend following system rules and achieved decent backtest stats; A risk: reward of 1:2 & a win ratio of 45%.
• Forward-tested in live market with minimal capital and enhanced the rules to reduce market opening time slippages.
• Integrated the system with Zerodha's Kite APIs (India's Leading discount brokerage firm) and deployed on AWS Cloud.
• Implemented an Alert system bot (Vicky) which keeps on monitoring the trades and notify in case of any issues via Telegram messages & Twilio phone calls.

• As a Summer Intern at The Egghead Creative I was actively involved in Design and Implementation of "Fourth Estate", India's One
• and Only News Aggregator.
• “Fourth Estate” is an Android application to read and browse everyday events and news in India. “Fourth Estate” crawls and aggregates news articles from top 100 news outlets in India and displays them in a readable manner to the end user.
• Using Ruby on Rails, a popular MVC framework, data is aggregated, processed, scrubbed and made ready for consumption, using an internal API.
• Processed data is stored in MongoDB, a NoSQL database. Processed images and other scale intensive assets are stored on Amazon S3 and served using Amazon Cloudfront.
• Android Application consumes internal API and renders news articles by categories. Using the aggregated data we are able to show the top, trending and recent news stories along with an option to read a story from multiple sources.
