• 1) Involved in the feasibility analysis of a potential replacement of Network Diagram.
• Worked on the SWOT Analysis of the existing Network Diagram.
• Enumerated the potential pitfalls of the existing Network Diagram from user’s perspective.
• Worked on the analysis of the new replacement, Scicos, an acquired product by Altair.
• 2) Aim of the project was to replicate Network Diagram in Scicos.
• Built a Python based translator which reads a CSV file exported from the Network Diagram Software and converts it into a HML file which is input to Scicos.
• Worked on the elaborate study of pros and cons of using Scicos over Network Diagram.
• Post evaluation of using Scicos as a replacement of Network Diagram would be done by Project Manager.
