Rahul Chunduru — Software Engineer
I am passionate about Distributed Systems, Data Management, Cloud Computing, and Generative AI. At UW-Madison, I worked with Prof. Xiangyao Yu to optimize and benchmark Hermes, a novel HTAP Database. As part of course projects, I worked on long-text summarization and prompt-to-VR scene generation using LLMs. As a storage engineering intern at Nutanix, I worked on developing a Fallocate API for faster overwrites to the Nutanix distributed file system that touches all layers of the critical IO path. Previously, as a Research Engineer at Cohesity, I worked on building the Data Hawk Initiative (SaaS) for DSPM, Anti Ransomware capabilities from scratch. I have also co-authored two Differential Security papers with Prof. Manoj Prabhakaran during my undergraduation at IIT Bombay. Overall, I strive to be an empathetic engineer, actively exploring exciting software opportunities that align with my interests.
