• Oye! connects real Bharat with public transportation and nearby public places via its shared, electric, micro-mobility, tech-based marketplace. Oye solve people's daily commute problems, making it a seamless, reliable, affordable, and convenient experience for our customers. Oye does all this through our 100% plug-in electric rickshaws.
• I assisted 2-3 developers at Oye! Rickshaw on different projects.
• My responsibilities include -
• ● Managing the Supply side apps of Oye - Driver app, Fleet Operator App
• ● To work and make sure improved application performance and bug fixing
• ● Worked extensively on Location based services to improve location tracking for Driver app
• ● Identify battery drain of android devices and improve on it
• ● Worked on 3rd party BLE integration through which we were able to get battery data of E-rickshaw battery directly from the device and getting rid of REST API data which was not very accurate
• ● Improved location flow in app by implementing single location source around the whole project which reduced location based issues in Driver app
• ● Worked on Bound Services through which our Android Service could run indefinitely in the background

• ● Implemented Firebase Realtime Database for real-time communication
• ● Implemented MQTT for realtime and low-latency communication between backend and client app
