• The Students' Place Office(SPO) is run and managed by a mixed team of office staff and students. The Student division has a hierarchial structure where the top tier is the Overall Placement Coordinators(OPCs) under whom come the Department Placement Coordinators(DPCs) who are incharge of their respective departments. The SPO manages all activities related to placement like calling/contacting companies, inviting them, verifying student data, pre-placement talks, scheduling tests, scheduling final interviews and arranging logistics wherever required.
• The role of the DPC is to contact companies, verify student resumes, help out students with queries, help out with the tests and interview process and assist the OPCs in any other work they need.
