About

I like building things from scratch—products and teams alike. Over fifteen years of my career I have worked in early stage teams which moved to growth stage and delivered business value to customers. Most of my recent roles have been with founding teams, where I've helped start and scale engineering org from a handful of people to multi-team setups, while owning critical parts of the platform. I believe in a good mix of purpose, people and product to succeed, leading with empathy and honesty. I'm a generalist by nature. I've worked primarily in Go, Python, and Node.js, with Postgres, Neo4j, and MongoDB on the data side. I'm drawn to distributed systems, cloud security, and the kind of product work where technical decisions have real impact on customers. My interests tend toward cloud security, data security, and SaaS—and more recently, the possibilities around agentic AI. Outside of work, I teach computer science concepts in Kannada on YouTube and through a blog—it's my way of giving back to my native language community. I also practice Vedic chanting, which keeps me grounded.

  • Back in 2015, I did some trials on idea sharing and building a team with varied skills which builds a product. I had parked the results of the trials for some time after a POC due to my full time job and other engagements. Recently I got a chance to work on the POC and make it into a usable product.
