• YLAC aims to increase the participation of young citizens in policymaking and preparing them to be positive change agents in society.
• ‘Policy in Action’ is a cohort-and-selection-based program designed to deliver policy analysis, advocacy, and leadership skills to young professionals. The cohort is sub-divided into learning teams that work on live projects for a legislative member.
• Roles and Responsibility:
• Worked on the project “Reducing post-harvest losses through the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund” for Mr. Ashwini Vaishnaw (Member of Parliament, and Wharton MBA).
• Presented the proposals for changes required in the Agri-infrastructure Fund scheme proposed by the Government of India, in a team of 6 professionals from different backgrounds (Finance, Social, Tech, Marketing, Student). This required background research and comparison with alternate practices in Domestic and International regions.

• While preparing for civil services, took this time to self-educate myself about India and the world, while exploring my aptitude and inklings further.
• Did the extensive study of the world’s and India’s scientific and technological prowess, politico-economy, society, international relations. The broad analysis of organizational values and ethics has added to my awareness and responsibility, as a contributor.
• During these months, I came across the hidden writer and wrote 2 pieces of work (Hindi and English).
• Explored Toastmasters' clubs across Delhi to keep honing my public skills.

• Drove my team’s tech-preparedness initiatives during Q4-peak holiday-season sales: load testing, scaling up, re-calibrating, and monitoring to ensure availability and performance.
• Created an asset-management framework used by 30+ teams spread across multiple global locations (China, Seattle, Toronto), and provide extended onboarding support for our clients.
• Added metric gathering and analysis features to streamline the out-of-the-box integration support that later helped in detecting customer experience bottlenecks for project prioritization.
• For expanding towards leadership direction, I volunteered to be a Senpai coach for Amazon new hires, a hackathon organizer (100+ participants), and a team representative at internal events.
• Mentored an intern to launch a log visualization pipeline. (The intern eventually got a full-time offer.)

• Reduced 20% time in email launches by augmenting the capability of multilingual translation experts.
• The e-mail templates need to be translated each time a new feature is launched in a new marketplace. This localization normally takes days to contribute further to the bottleneck before rolling out new business solutions.
• To ease the manual localization process (performed by editors) of e-mail templates, developed an automated learning system using Dynamo DB designed to memorize past translations for future use. (Templates were a mix of HTML, free-marker, and business logic).
• This involved cross-geography and cross-org discussions to finalize a system that caters for localization nuances across multiple cultural regions and ensures tech-feasibility.

• "What you browse online should be private." Driven by this principle, Epic resolves the online tracking and privacy breach problems.
• Worked with technical leaders to develop features for the chromium-browser version of the epic privacy browser.
• Implemented domain detection from cookies, and blocking the advertising domains.
• Built the bookmark import system for the browser to import from Chrome and other browsers.
