• With my role as platform developer in Infra Team, my responsibilities included not only to
• develop several inhouse tools/libraries but also to enhance/maintain existing
• Infrastructure.
• ▪ Contributed on projects like observability, cost-optimization, inhouse-cache-engine
• (I.C.E.), Orchestrator (In house tool to manage
• infrastructure/releases/access-control).
• ▪ Contributed to the development of the Redis operator for Kubernetes. This code will be
• available as open-source in sometime.
• ▪ Worked on customization of several open-source projects as per requirement like:
• cadvisor, node-exporter, Redis-exporter. Other than this I had to go through parts of
• source codes of open-source projects like Grafana, Prometheus, Redis to solve problems
• in existing projects.
• ▪ Worked on a project of building an application based K8s operator which will be
• capable of handling multiple clouds, multiple regions, multiple environments, multiple
• zones. This will take care of app onboarding, CI and multiple level based deployments for
• Canary/Blue-Green on top of service-mesh. This will also take care of traffic routing in
• case of failures.

• Work in this project mainly lays around the setup of the Infrastructure-observability stack on Prometheus and Grafana dashboards. The organization wanted to move away from Datadog due to API limitations on pushing custom metrics.
• I mainly contributed to the GitHub actions for Installing and setup of node-exporters and custom exporters for Prometheus on application VMs. Setting up of Prometheus server with dynamic target discovery based on AWS Tags, Grafana dashboards, and Auto-creation of Grafana dashboard panels via Python script based on available custom metrics from the application.
