  • I have led experience design for the global rental cars product, mobile app and now insurtech products during my time within Expedia. Currently leading the experience design for the suite of travel insurtech products which provides confidence and peace of mind to travelers during and after their trip. Leading a cross-geographical, multi-cultural team of UX designers, design managers, content, designers, and researchers to handle multiple parallel programs across the insurtech business. My team is responsible for driving the end-to-end insurtech experiences across all LOBs, solving complex traveler problems while collaborating deeply with cross-functional partners across varied teams within the organization. One of the main challenges that I and my team solve, is finding connections between the traveler problems across insurtech products and the main LOB traveler journey and following HCD methodologies to identify intersections and design holistic seamless experiences across the space.
  • Experience is building a strong UX base in India by hiring 20+ designers, content designer and researchers in the first few years of my time in the company. And my role not just involved growing the team base, but also evolving the India team's experience design culture by taking design thinking workshops, sensitizing cross-functional partners about the discipline, and building strong connections between the design team in India and other geographies. Unlocked opportunities and created forums for other external/internal design leaders to share their knowledge and experiences with the Indian design teams to grow their skills even further.
