Sabyasachi Mohanty — Software Engineer

I am currently pursuing MS in Artificial Intelligence and Innovation (MSAII) at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). During my summer break, I worked as a Software Development Engineering Intern at Amazon Web Services (AWS). I worked as a Member of Technical Staff (Product Engineer) in EdgeVerve Systems Limited, a premier subsidiary of Infosys Limited that hires exclusively top talent. Previously, I completed my undergraduate studies (B.Tech) from IIT(BHU), Varanasi in 2017. I am extremely passionate about the following topics : Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, and BlockChain. I developed keen interest in Computer vision, AI, and deep learning during my undergraduate days and still continue to extensively conduct research in these topics. I am particularly motivated by the application of deep learning techniques in various computer vision tasks, such as scene text detection, object detection, object recognition, and so on. I was involved with blockchain technology in my professional life. The in-depth knowledge of various blockchain stacks such as Bitcoin, Corda, Etherium, and Hyperledger Fabric has added a new dimension to my research pursuits. I am passionately pursuing research on the creation of various approaches for seamless integration of blockchain stacks in deep learning techniques to further improve and optimize computer vision tasks.
