  • On an average the number of health records uploaded every day ranged b/w 50K-70K. The service that I built, functioned as a cron job, & every hour pulled in freshly uploaded records. It also pulled in updates to any of the previously fetched records.
  • These records were then processed and normalised before uploading them on the portal. It was a critical piece, since loosing out on a health record or uploading an incorrect information, could be catastrophic.
  • The service that we built ensured reliability, durability and availability, Since the number of records kept on increasing with each passing day, we designed our service in such a way that at max it will function with 20% free storage.
