• Full stack developer with work on .net based backend frameworks (private to Microsoft), MVC web app (msn.com), React Js, web components.
• Worked on and implemented business projects:
• 1. Opening of ads in new tab on bing.com/shop - It sounds like one line change. But in a big company like Microsoft, it requires logging related changes at multiple stack layers. Syncing with partners, doing client logging changes to get quick back numbers. After the success of this project in shop vertical (sub are under Bing). It got extended to entire bing.com.
• 2. Changing Ads behavior to open with one click avoiding the middle page.
• 3. Patented method to generate Product suggestions which compliment the other product styling wise. - Started it as hackathon project, It was then shipped on bing.com/shop. This is currently under US Patent No. US10949706B2
• 4. Experiences on msn.com using both older mvc app and react js.
• 5. Authentication and authorization flow designing for newer projects under msn shopping.

• Shashank is the key developer for experiences on Bing retail team. Initially he worked on creating mini catalog. For mini catalog he worked on scraping retailers websites, normalizing products from different retailers, conflating products and attribute identification of products. Mini catalog was used to identify key products and their attributes. This created a rank-able golden set of products.
• Post this project he became the key developer for experiences on. Being in back-end service layer, he has co-implemented Shopping vertical from scratch. He then designed (backend) and developed Home page for shop vertical
• Shashank has designed (backend- middle tier) and developed experiences which are generating traffic for bing shop page. Experiences include: MSN page modules, explore more modules on bing's search suggestions page, Moment in Time experiences.
• He then designed major experiences on Bing shop page including weekly flyers, MSN contextual modules, Common search box with page detection and hook up with contextual auto suggest feature. He has served as single POC for Shop page.

• Worked as part of Bing "Local Search Team".
• Developed an internal tool which would help in analyzing results of search queries. Flexibility for users to change the search parameters and compare different search results. This tool is currently used internally by Bing team to analyze results for different queries.
