Hello, welcome to my profile. My name is Jagadeesh Neduri. I have completed my PhD and I am currently working on the synthesis and characterization of rare-earth-free permanent magnets under the supervision of Prof. Sai Ramudu Meka at IIT Roorkee. My research interests focus on enhancing the service life of stainless steel components to support sustainable goals. Low-temperature nitriding and carburizing of stainless steels significantly improve both pitting corrosion resistance and wear resistance. I aim to apply the knowledge gained during my PhD to practical applications such as bipolar plates for electrolyzers and fuel cells, biomedical implants, as well as cookware and cutlery. In the long term, I aspire to become a professor recognized for my contributions to research and education.
