I'm Manya Tiwari, a Java Backend Developer currently working at Wells fargo. I primarily work with Java and Spring Boot and I’ve been deeply involved in building REST APIs, integrating it in legacy systems, and moving monoliths into microservices, modernizing UIs for better developer and client experience. One of the key projects I worked on was building Spring Boot–based REST APIs to expose device-eligible digital wallets. This helped surface the right wallet options to users and contributed to a 36% increase in website engagement.
I also designed an internal AI-powered comparison tool using Gemini LLM that can analyze PDFs, brochures, and links to generate persona-specific recommendations. This capability was later integrated into the banking app to enable in-app credit card comparisons, improving the overall user experience.
Another impactful initiative involved replacing hardcoded secrets with Vault-based secret management using HashiCorp Vault and Venafi. This enabled a secure GitHub → GitSAS migration and led to a 40% improvement in SonarQube code quality score.
To improve observability and incident response, I built and maintained Splunk dashboards for Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay workflows. These dashboards significantly reduced error analysis and troubleshooting time, cutting incident resolution time by 20%.

One of the projects I’m most proud of involved connecting a modern UI with an internal API Gateway on NonStop OS, which doesn’t support JSON. I built Spring Boot REST APIs that translated user inputs into backend-executable scripts and automated the deployment process end-to-end. That reduced deployment time and made our system a lot more user-friendly and reliable.
On the frontend, I’ve worked on migrating and modularizing the HAL console into NSASJ34 using React.js. This not only simplified future upgrades but also saved the team 80% of their regression testing time, because I created a plug and play model for this GUI.
