I spent over 10 years working as a freelance motion designer working mainly for studios and agencies, before co-founding a studio with a few friends in 2017. We wrapped that chapter up in early 2023. Since then, I’ve been freelancing again, and started building TeamAid at the end of 2023, based on everything I’ve learned from both sides of the table. I’ve been the person looking for artists. And I’ve been the artist looking for projects. That’s exactly where the idea for TeamAid came from. TeamAid isn’t a recruiting service. It’s a platform where producers, studios, and agencies manage their own freelancer pools, and expand them with new talent when needed. Think of it as a staffing tool and freelancer marketplace combined, with a very strong community layer on top. No middlemen. No cold recruiting. A tool to filter your own staff and freelancer pool by availability, skills, and tools, all the way down to specific plug-ins. When needed, your pool can be expanded with freelancers from across the platform. With network-based matching to build better teams.
