About

Oliver Reichenstein studied Philosophy in Basel and Paris. From 1999, he worked as a UX designer for an Web and a branding agency. In 2003, he moved to Tokyo where, after working for a local startup, in 2005, he founded Information Architects Inc. iA has designed websites and apps for media organizations, including Tages-Anzeiger, Die Zeit, The Guardian, Nikkei, and NHK. Oliver has taught at KEIO University. Today, iA's design team works exclusively for the Japanese market. In 2010, iA released Writer, the blueprint of focused writing apps. iA has sold over 3 Million apps. In 2023, our product team released its second app, iA Presenter, targeting the presentation market. In 2024 iA released its first physical product, iA Notebook. Specialties: Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Information Design, Digital Branding, Screen Typography. I speak German, French, Italian, English, and Japanese.
